Before applying, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:

• Be at least 18 years of age by July 1 of the application year.
• Hold proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
• Complete specific prerequisite courses with at least a grade of C, including:

  • College Algebra or a higher-level math (3 credits)
  • Anatomy and Physiology I & II (3 credits each)
